In September we attended an AVS Seminar in Bangkok. Volunteers from Thailand and Cambodia were there. It was very inspiring and useful. We spent four days getting to know other volunteers and learning a lot. Since we were there, we used to trip to enjoy some other things and to get to know new places. We share some pictures.

| Después de los templos comimos algo y fuimos a Chatuchak (o algo así). Es un mercado barato gigante. Pueden ver la cara de felicidad de Naty entre tantas cosas baratas para comprar, jajajaja! After the temples we ate something and went to Chatuchak (or something like that). It´s a huge market of cheap things. You can see Naty´s happy face to be among all those cheap things to buy, jajaja! |

| Es bastante parecido al subte, pero va por arriba, a la altura de un tercer piso más o menos. Is very similar to the subway but it travel over the ground, at the height of a third floor more or less. |

| Me encantó cómo manejaron el tema de los reyes y Jesús. Tiene que haber imágenes de los reyes en las escuelas. I love how they dealt with the issue of pictures of the king, queen, and Jesus. Every school has to have pictures of the king and queen. |

| También fuimos a Pan Tip, el shopping de tecnología. Creo que esta vez no compramos nada. We also want to Pan Tip, the technology mall.I think we didn´t buy anything this time. |

| Y visitamos Terminal 21, un shopping ambientado como un aeropuerto. Cada piso es una ciudad diferente. Impresionante. Este es el piso de Roma. And we visited Terminal 21, a mall that resembles an airport. Every floor is a different city. Amazing! This is the Rome floor. |

ResponderEliminarMe imagino que habrán recontra disfrutado de la comida argentina. Yo sé cómo se siente. En México también, cada vez que probábamos algo con estilo argentino era como WOW.
Los elefantes: una ternura. Se nota que los tienen recontra entrenados. Posan, sonríen y todo. La foto con Naty parece que está dando la pata. Jaja
QUÉ COPADO QUE PUEDAN VER RUINAS. Me fascinan! Me encanta ver (aparte de la arquitectura, que es hermosa) cómo la naturaleza va reconquistando por encima de los edificios abandonados.
La foto en el mercado barato: tal cual. Se le nota la felicidad en la cara a Naty. Yo estaría igual. Y voy a estar igual cuando vaya al gran bazar en Estambul. Muahaha
Una pregunta: ¿cómo que "creo" que esta vez no van a comprar nada? Van o no van.
De paso, Naty, Estambul en inglés es Istanbul (con ene).
En fin, se ve que la están pasando genial. Disfruten. Yo me voy a leer las otras dos entradas...

ResponderEliminarEl mercado fue genial, y las ruinas también. Esa vez creo que no compramos nada en el de tecnología, pero ya tenemos en nuestro haber una computadora, memorias, USB, cámara fotográfica, celulares... No da para comprar cada vez que vamos, jajaja! Nos fundimos...
Bueno, se viene la entrada del parque. En espectacular. Creo que van a ser dos o tres entradas...
