Today I want to share with you a very important topic: food. Thai food is very good, as long as you are used to eating spicy food. We are NOT used to it, so it's been a great challenge, especially the first days. We basically ate from 7eleven... When we moved to our own apartment we started cooking. Now we are happy again y re-gained the weight we lost the first days, haha! You will see a series of pictures of food, from "weird" fruits, to Thai food, and food we cooked. Enjoy!
Pineapple (this is how they sell it at the market)
Mango. They are huge.
We don't know the name of this fruit.. It's not that good... haha!
Water lily fruit. People here like it. We don't.
"Healthy breakfast". It's a smoothie made of rice, beans, vegetables, mushrooms... but they make it taste like chocolate, vanilla, o strawberry. 500ml. I drank half of it, y never again... haha! Too healthy for me! Andy could finish it, but I don't think he'll have another one any time soon...
Eating con the people from the school in Steve and Htee's house, saying goodbye to Kindra (one of the teachers). Rice, beans, vegetables, fruit...
This is typical: eating on the floor. You can see the green vegetables, very natural...
