El miércoles de mañana llegamos a Mieders, un pueblito cerca de Innsbruck, Austria. Las entradas de Austria no van a tener muchos comentarios. Nos dedicamos a caminar y descansar. Aquí tienen las primeras imágenes.

On Wednesday morning we arrived in Mieders, a small town near Innsbruck, Austria. The entries about Austria are not going to have a lot of comments. We spent our days walking around and resting. Here are the first images.

El martes emprendimos viaje a Venecia bien tempranito. Llegamos a media mañana y caminamos por las callecitas y puentecitos hasta la plaza y basilica de San Marco. Entramos a la basilica y la verdad que fue un momento especial del viaje. Parte de mis antepasados (de Naty) eran de Venecia. Fue increíble pensar que probablemente hayan estado en ese lugar hace muchos muchos años, ya que eran católicos. Nuestro tren hacia Austria salía a la tardecita, así que caminamos tranquilos, compramos algunos recuerditos, y comimos algo hasta tomar nuestro tren.

On Tuesday we travelled to Venice very early. We arrived mid-morning and walked through narrow streets and bridges towards St. Mark´s basilica and square. We entered the basilica and it was truly a special moment of the trip. Part of my ancestors (Naty´s) were from Venice. It was incredible to think that they probably were there a looot of years ago, since they were catholics. Our train to Austria would leave in the evening so we had a lot of time to walk around, but some souvenirs, and eat something before taking our train.

El lunes fue un día de descanso. Salimos solamente para ir al museo de Salvatore Ferragamo.. sí, sí, un museo de zapatos. Muy lindo. Tomamos un poco más de helado y volvimos a la casa a seguir descansando.

Monday was a day of rest. We went out only to go to the Salvatore Ferragamo museum... yes.. a museum of shoes. Very nice. We had some more ice-cream and went back to the house to continue resting.

El domingo viajamos hasta un pueblito llamado Volterra para disfrutar de un poco de cultura medieval. Un día espectacular en el cual decidimos cambiar nuestros planes de visitar Budapest, Viena, y Praga e irnos a Austria, a las montañas.

On Sunday we travelled to a small town called Volterra to enjoy some mediaeval culture. An amazing day in which we decided to change our plans of going to Budapest, Vienna, and Prague and instead go to Austria, to the mountains.

Justo ese día había una competencia con banderas típica del medioevo. 

That day there was a competition of flag throwing, typical of medieval times.

Fuentes de agua italianas. Están por todos lados, y el agua es pura. ¡Espectacular!
