El grupo de Andrews tenía planeado un viaje a Jordania del 28 de mayo al 02 de junio, y fueron tan copados que nos invitaron a ir con ellos. Salimos el martes 28 tempranito al aeropuerto y luego de un vuelo de 50 minutos llegamos a Jordania. Nos estaba esperando nuestro guía turístico, subimos a una camionetita rumbo a nuestra primer parada Madaba. En Madaba hay una iglesia que tiene en el piso un mosaico con un mapa de esta zona. Es muy importante porque probó que lugares que solo se mencionaban en la Biblia eran reales. De ahí seguimos hacia el Monte Nebo, donde Dios le mostró a Moisés la tierra prometida, y donde Moisés murió. La vista es increíble. Se ve hasta Jericó. La tercer parada fue en Karak, una ciudad que tiene un castillo antiguo. Visitamos el castillo y sacamos muchas fotos. Fue muy interesante. De ahí seguimos camino hasta Petra. Llegamos al atardecer, nos instalamos en el hotel y nos fuimos a ver los negocios de souvenirs.
The Andrews Team planned to travel to Jordan from May 28th to June 2nd, and they were so great that they invited us to go with them. We took off on Tuesday morning to the airport, and after a 50-minute flight we arrived in Jordan. Our turist guide was waiting for us, we got on a small bus and went to our first stop: Madaba. In the city of Madaba there´s a church that has a mosaic on the floor that shows this area. It´s of great importance because it proved that places that were only mentioned in the Bible were real. From there we went to Mount Nebo, where God showed Moses the Promised Land and where Moises died. The view is amazing. You can even see Jerico. The third stop was Karak, a city that had an ancient castle. We visited the castle and took a ton of pictures. It was very interesting. Then, we continued to Petra. We got there at sunset, left everything at the hotel, and went to check out the souvenir shops.

This deserves an explanation. One of the most special and well-known souvenirs from here are the sand bottles. This is how the artist we met makes them. It´s incredible and super difficult, but gorgeous.
